Movement of control- A personal mapping of an infrastructure, 2010

This work consist in one video, which unfolds three stages, or rather three tempi, one of driving, one of walking and one of moving in the tunnels underneath the Old City of Jerusalem. Still pictures and video are combined as well as a voice-over. The three different movements in the video are used to explore three particular layers and levels of an infrastructure in Jerusalem. The voice-over in the video talks about everyday life in the city. It is a personal story in a diary style that reflects on the city and its history in relation to the specific sites in the video.
